IMPORTANT CLIENT NOTICE

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has provided a strike notice to Canada Post. The notice indicates that CUPW will be in a legal position to begin strike activity on November 15, at 12:01 am ET. To avoid a potential disruption of your Haywood Securities mail, (if you have not already done so) we encourage you to access our Client Centre to sign up for electronic access to your account transaction confirmations and monthly statements. To avoid a potential disruption/delay of a funds deposit, or funds receipt by mailed cheque, we encourage you to conduct such transactions through an electronic funds transfer. If you intend on delivering securities for deposit to your Haywood account, please ensure that you deliver those securities through an alternative secure means, e.g. a courier.

Please be advised that regardless of any Canada Post mail disruption, you retain full responsibility for the timely payment of your account debits and Haywood does not accept liability for any mail disruption that may potentially impact your Haywood account.

We will provide you further information when more updates are available. If you have any questions in the interim, please contact your Registered Representative.
