Since investment services undertaken on your behalf by Haywood Securities, Inc are not covered by the rules and regulations made for the protection of investors in the UK you will not have the benefit of rights designed to protect investors under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and under the rules of the Financial Services Authority. In particular you will not benefit from the following UK protections:

the right to claim through the UK's Financial Services Compensation Scheme for losses resulting in the unlikely event of our default; |

in the event of a dispute, access to the UK's Financial Ombudsman Service;

protection of money held on your behalf under the FSA's Client Money Rules; |
However, you have the benefit of rights designed to protect investors under the applicable Canadian provincial securities laws. In particular, you will have the benefit of the following Canadian protections:

the right to claim through the Canadian Investor Protection Fund (a brochure explaining how this Fund works is attached); |

in the event of a dispute not exceeding $100,000, access to the arbitration procedures of the Investment Dealers Association; and |
| (c) |

the Investment Dealers Association and Market Regulation Services Inc. are the recognized Canadian self regulatory organizations who hold regulatory jurisdiction over Haywood Securities Inc. Therefore, Haywood Securities Inc. UK clients are afforded the same strict protection under these SRO requirements as are Canadian clients; |

the Haywood Securities Inc. registration as an investment dealer in Canada is in good standing with the applicable Canadian Securities Commissions. |
