GFWM serves high net worth clients who choose to delegate the management of their investment portfolio to an experienced professional. We worry so the client doesn't have to. The strategy of GFWM is to protect and enhance client portfolios primarily through sound risk management. We maintain a group of portfolio models which fall under one of two types of strategies; The Tactical Asset Allocation Series, and the Focused Strategy Series. Each model is specifically designed to address differing risk and reward objectives .

About the GFWM Team

Greg Flower - Portfolio Manager

Greg brings wealth of experience to Haywood Securities with his strong philosophy of capital preservation, risk management, and managed growth. His education and professional experiences give strength to his investment strategies. Greg graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce, achieved his Chartered Account designation in 1982, and then established a Chartered Accountant firm (Peterson and Flower Chartered Accounts) that operated successfully from 1983 to 1988. Subsequently, Greg held the position of Assistant Auditor General of Bermuda from 1988 to 1993. While in Bermuda he obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1992. Upon his return to Canada he began to build his financial services business and worked as an Investment Advisor from 1993 to 2000. In 2001 he achieved his long-standing goal of becoming a Portfolio Manager. Haywood became his home in the spring of 2003.

Trina Richards, CIM - Associate Portfolio Manager

Trina has spent the last 4 years with Haywood in Vancouver as an investment advisor; Created and developed Haywood's Fixed Income Trading Desk, advising brokers and clients on various fixed income products and strategies. Prior to Haywood, Trina spent 3 yrs on the Japan Institutional Sales & Trading Desk at Credit Suisse in London, UK.
